Creator Agreement
This agreement applies when you publish items or list servers on Craft.cool, in addition to the Terms of Service. You accept it when you apply to become a creator.
1. What you can publish
- Only work you made yourself, or have written permission to distribute. If it contains other people's code, textures, models or builds, their licence must allow it and you must credit them.
- Descriptions, screenshots, supported versions, prices and links must be accurate.
- No malware, hidden backdoors, remote-control code, miners, forced telemetry or anything that runs without the server owner knowing.
- No content that breaks the Minecraft Usage Guidelines (for example, selling gameplay advantages in ways Mojang does not allow).
2. Review
New items are reviewed before they appear. After approval, most updates go live straight away; changes to name, category, price or download may need a quick review. We may remove or hide items that break these rules.
3. Selling
- You set the price and the licence. Buyers get a licence to use the item under the terms you choose; you keep ownership.
- The platform fee and payment processing fees shown in Creator Studio are deducted from each sale. Your earning is shown per sale before you publish.
- Earnings become available after a short holding period, so refunds and disputes can be handled. You can withdraw once you reach the minimum shown in Earnings.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on your earnings (for example income tax, and GST if you are registered).
- You must answer buyers' support questions about your item within a reasonable time.
4. Refunds and chargebacks
If a buyer is refunded under the Refund Policy (for example, the item does not work as described), the earning from that sale is reversed.
5. Licence to Craft.cool
You let Craft.cool host, show, deliver and promote your items and listings on the site and in its previews and social posts. This ends when you delete the item, except that buyers keep access to what they bought.
6. Removing your items
You can unpublish or delete your items at any time. People who already bought an item keep their download. Order and sales records are kept for accounting.
7. Copyright complaints about your work
If someone reports your item for copyright infringement, we may hide it while we review the report and will tell you. You can send a counter-notice if you believe the report is wrong. Accounts with repeated valid infringement reports are closed. See the Copyright Policy.
8. Young creators
Creators aged 13 to 17 need their parent or guardian's agreement to sell. Payouts go to an account the parent or guardian controls or approves.
